A Story for Everyone.

SCROLL

How we create

How We Build It

At ACT3, we believe that every thing, every endeavor, and every person carries a story waiting to be told.

A product holds the passion of the people who made it.
A company carries the path it has walked and the ambition that drives it.
A brand holds the memory and pride of trust built up over time.
A person carries a story of choices made, doubts faced, and dreams pursued.

Our work is to shine a light on these stories — to draw out the meaning, value, and passion held within them.

Stories have the power to inspire empathy, move people, and connect them to one another. They reach places that numbers and specifications alone never can — deeply, and directly.

In an age overflowing with information, where it has become difficult to stand apart, what companies and brands truly need to communicate is not
"What are you selling?"
but "Why are you trying to deliver it?" — and that is a story.

We work together with our clients to uncover the untold stories sleeping within them, carefully give those stories words and form, and weave them anew for the world to see.

"A Story for Everyone."
This is both our origin and our mission.

ACT3 Launches the "Writers' Room Lab" in Partnership with AMARENA Inc.

A Writers' Room Lab workshop session

ACT3, in partnership with AMARENA Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroyuki Ueno), has launched the "Writers' Room Lab," an initiative aimed at bringing collaborative story-building into wider social practice.

The Lab serves as a hub for practice, research, and talent development dedicated to establishing the "writers' room" culture — in which multiple screenwriters collaborate on a single script — within Japan's film, drama, and animation industries. Its goals include fostering a culture of collaborative screenwriting, researching and developing showrunner-type talent, and building a development structure geared toward international markets such as Cannes, Berlin, and TIFFCOM.

Founding members include ACT3 co-representatives Keiya Ando and Chikara Nishigaki, along with a number of screenwriters, directors, and producers.

ACT3 co-representatives Keiya Ando and Chikara Nishigaki will serve as lecturers for a hands-on "Hollywood-Style Storytelling Course," hosted by the "Rakuen Shinshu" Relocation Promotion Innovation Council — a body organized by Nagano Prefecture together with municipalities and private organizations across the prefecture.

The council has repeatedly highlighted the importance of reframing everyday regional life as story, and this course will teach Hollywood-style story structure to local government staff and others working to promote relocation and tourism in their communities.

The first session focuses on learning the fundamentals of story structure through film, while the second is a hands-on workshop for crafting stories that support relocation promotion.
